First of all - in my defense, GW was my first MMORPG experience - EVER!

1. When I first joined a guild - 4-5 days after getting GW (2 years ago), they were talking about "farming." Then I remember asking in Guild Chat, "Where do you get a spot of land to farm and what kind of food do you farm there?
2. Pre-Factions - accidently merched a HOD and a q815^50 fellblade in the same week - I went out from grotto 10 times to commit suicide that Saturday...
3. I never do this, ever - but this one time I RAGE quit a THK mission PUG group (Pre-NF - so pre-heros). The leader tank of the group was trying to tell people to stay up by the king to defend him inside the Keep. I was like, "nu uh ya noob!, we run back and forth between the gates and HAVE to kill them as they come in!" He wouldn't listen, lol.....hey I did have half the group following and believing me

4. Lastly, right after I started playing, I sometimes noticed people putting this: "

" symbol at the end of their text chats - and most often it was when someone was saying goodbye or logging off. So, in my genius I assumed that was the symbol for "I'm done and out, not gonna say anymore" or something. Lol, so, the only time I ever smiled for several months was when I was leaving! (/shakes head at self...)

well.... i started in nightfall and NF has the best tutorial, so yea, nothing too noobish:
1. shouting in Kamadan "WTS Collector Items!! Including Water Djinn Essence!!" cos i thought that was pretty rare..... that time i was <lv15
2. equiping a purple smiting staff while being a E/Mo... that was my first purple staff, even put in points in smiting just so i can use it...
3. gave dunkoro a purple Grim Cesta +7 en req 2 death i could still remember... gave him 2 deaths so he could wear it.... while he's using a staff...
4. Salvaging Ele Ancient Armor after getting Primeval, then finds out how ugly it is...
Salvaging Derv Ancient Armor after getting Primeval... could have used it for 130 hp....
that time i really though finishing a campaign was leet...
both are before the release of EotN
5. giving away 200+ candy cane shards to some random person cos i thought i was trading to my friend....

When I first started with my ele in Prophecies, I was in a mission, and was with 2 other people in group, we all agreed that we would do the bonus, and non of us knew where it was, (I don't think anyway) so towards the end, the two other people in my group went wandering off to try and trigger the bonus, I didn't see them go off(for whatever reason) and they weren't in my radar, so I too ran off, I saw a temple and decided that it must have been the bonus, so I walked up to it and I'd triggered the mission ending. The worst part was, that one of the other players, was apparently right outside the bonus.

Most noobish act ever....using the starter ranger armor, and I mean starter, not the collector armor in pre, all the way up until Henge of Denravi when I finally understood how to actually buy the armor. 8sigh* Most noobish thing I ever did.

The most n00bish thing I did was create my main character as a N/W, thinking that I could do spells and melee and preceded to wander around ascalon with a wand and shield

(this was back in 2005, so I could get away with running around as a N/W without cries of "OMFGWTFBBQ joo n00b!!!1111!!!!")

I soon realised the stupidity of this, abandoned all warrior skills and changed to something more sensible when I got to the desert, N/Me I think. Apart from that I can't really think of anything really n00bish i've done, although i'm sure there are some.

new to the game, my guild was no help, used to sell everything to the merchant after ID'ing. wound up merching a crap load of perfect mods. you name it I probably sold it to the merchant.

1- i was using mending with a vampiric bow in ToPK when it first opened to "pve public" and tough im the smartest person in the group...... till my bro yelled at me

2- my first was a R/N, i had an almost full necro skill bar with SPELLS and 1 bow skill (power shot). it was totally worth all the 7 attribute ranks i put in it. oh ya, my 1st max bow was a green Stinger i got from my 1st guild ever, i was sure that the bow is priceless lol

3- i didnt see the point of bringing comfort animal when i had my pet with me, if it dies, its its own fault right?

oh ya, speaking of pre searing....

my ranger left pre searing at lvl 12 (or 15, i dont remember anymore), and this is why....

i have played Fable on XboX before i played GW, and in Fable, when you take the quest that says "no way to return, are you sure you completed everything" was actually taking you to the final mission of the game.

i finished every single pre-searing quest and was getting 0 exp from killing charr, then i tough "well that game wasn't worth my 60$, so freaking short and i never got to max level, might as well just finish it and go play something else."

imagine the surprise after i saw the map.....

I recall running around with healing breeze, and later heal other... on my ele in pvp. I thought I was being helpful healing people. I added flare spamming with mark of rodgort (which actually worked alright) and meteor shower with glyph of renewal.

THis is the skill bar I used when I played through Prophecies with my ele (first character)

Hmmm maybe mine was the time I decided that Uber-ranger-meteor shower-powershot was leet, oh and maybe throw in a trap, a run skill, aura of restoration and dont forget to use a 1337 axe with +27 health

Oh yeah, and i used MONK starter armor (yes the 5 or so armor stuff) through to LA, then through Closer to the Stars, and finally through about 5 HM dungeons. Thats when I figured not being able to survive without full prots kindof sucked...
Now I farm with that armor

and my foot tatoos are bloody red... thought it looked cool

Though there are other things, this tops my list.

Back in 2005 I got into a FoW group with my ranger, hadn't been before.
No barrage, no Judge's Insight, did have interupts and if memory serves my elite was poison arrow.

So we get through the first several groups no problem, things are looking good. We are getting ready to take on the groups by the Tower of Courage, I get asked to pull, np I think.

Well, I wasn't paying attention to movement patterns. The Abyssal I targeted and subsequently shot was moving back to the rest of the groups, and by the rest I mean all of the bad guys by the tower.

Lets just say that I have learned to aggro since then.

Upon our early return to TOA I was asked to kick one person and then propmptly asked to kick self - had ended up being in charge of party.

Felt like an idiot, and don't like that feeling - learned a lot since

i usualy spent about 400k on all the characters i deleted and i remade it a few weeks or months later, IE i bought 15k armor on necro, i sold her other 15k, i deleted the necro, then i remade a new necro next month lol. this was back in the days b4 insignias was created
