I'm thoroughly convinced that an evil ,secret undeground army of monks with black fow, MoZing Masks, and Chaos gloves is being formed and will strike when we least suspect it, and they will force people with good taste to grind farm and get black FoW, Mo Zing masks, and chaos gloves. I do believe it's the end of the world.

All titles are overrated.
I don't have any issues with gear as it's the right of the player to look how they want although I'm glad the plethora of bad combos that were around immediately after EotN release have dissipated in favor of combinations I too find aesthetically pleasing.
Monks running around with pirate bandannas, ninja masks, and fiery hands was definitely effecting my sense of immersion and theme at one point.
I have a blindfold and chaos gloves as they suit the overall theme of my character, a process and mentality I picked up from playing City of Heroes, although I often switch out the gloves due to "omg you think ur leet" spam and in PvP you might as well have "MOB ME PLZ!!" floating above your head.
At the end of the day I really don't care about such things as long as they don't effect my game hence I only really get annoyed at the assumption that people wear armor pieces purely for status as opposed to the fact it may suit their personally defined character theme or that it's just aesthetically pleasing to them personally with no consideration or care towards what other think.

Dread Mask, hideous, I cringe when I see someone with perfectly nice armor and a decent dye color defile their look with this crap. Additionally I have an LDoA and I have to say I wouldnt trade it for any other title in the game, it takes a great deal of patience and commitment to death level when you could be out with one of your other characters doing something cool with your friends like DOA, UW or PVP. 10 months of 12-20 hours deathlevels through disconnects and other setbacks taught me this.

Skins (if referring to weapons) - Voltaic spear with black dye, sorry to those who dyed it black but to me its like that player is saying "Hey i got the most expensive spear and I can even afford 8k for a black dye".
Title: Hero title over all the others. Reason is simple: Too much ego (especially from r9+ players), In PvE that title doesn't mean much as its a different way of playing.
Chaos Gloves - Some ppl buy them even if they don't match with their armor (looking at those warriors with fow armor mostly).

I will defend my FoW armor for my warrior because when I was a wee little one week player, I saw a big strong warrior with the armor. Someone told me that it was super hard to get, so I made it my dream to get it. I agree, chaos gloves with it is fugly. I do have a bandana for it, but it's because some helmets don't match FoW very well and I like having headgear. So I have the obsidian helmet, tinted spectacles, and bandana for the three weapons.

Armor - None....personal preference. I find it hard to believe that people buy armors for the SOLE reason that it shows prestige. You gotta have some taste for it, or you wouldn't buy it.
and for Black Dyes... some people think it looks good. It is Anet's fault for making Black and White so "prestige". They have higher prices, and heck, they aren't even an option on starter armor.

Yeh FoW is nearly always worn, chaos axes and fellblades are nearly always the weapons used with them(if it is a warrior).

I am fed up of all this barrating of Dragon Gauntlets. Fair do's these gloves look hideous on most armors as they just overpower what could have been a nice outfit, but there is one armor they look great on and that is the necro scar pattern armor, observe

Dervish Primeval armor:extremely overrated. Its what I see on mostly all Dervishes...then again I own a set too, but I also have all the EoTN armor too and wear my Monument most of the time.
Any EoTN special gloves: ugly as heck, but there are times people can put together a nice armor set with the gloves, but the dragon gloves are the only gloves I have never seen go well with any armor..as of yet.

FoW armor died black looks, although pretty common, awesome. As does prime\/al. Ha\/ent really seen the dies on monument but that one looks sweet e\/en without dye.
Btw, my der\/ hasn't finished NF yet so I'm still running around in sunspear armor

What? Is it wrong to love my Primeval Armor on my female Warrior? It's just about the only armor I regularly use on my character, PLUS it has all my best runes. ~_~
As for the topic... I'd say that some of the 'For Fun' titles are overrated when maxed out (Drunkard, Sweet Tooth) since they only show just how much free time you have on your hands.
Though as a casual player, the Kind of A Big Deal track ain't nothing to sniff at, since it took me the better part of three years just to get to the LOWEST rung... Mind, I only play 30 minutes to an hour on weekends...
As to Armor, well, anything from the Fissure of Woe set, plus the Eye of the North headpieces and gloves. Seriously? Bandanas? Sunglasses? That is just so wrong...

For me it's simply buying something nice and then dyeing it black!
(Gloom Shields, Voltaic Spears, etc.)
It usually has the effect of killing the items texture making it a uniform black! ... but as long as they like it themselves - meh!
