Not going to cry over the loss of the A/E Master Sliver build, ANET apparently wants me to switch to the A/E degen build and farm the UW even more so I feel compelled to do what they want me to do, cya down below. One little problem, I got all the ecto I need for the armor I wanted, guess I could always sell them to the trader.

What are they thinking, they just nerfed 90 percent of non primary sin farm builds and left the primary (and troublesome perma sf ecto farm) still alive and kicking.

ps and the people that wanna stay and saw there SF build nerfed, well just go make a perma sf sin and farm uw for ecto's you'll still get more income then from your previous builds

they sure shot themselves in the foot by adding a factions skill to UW though. They've opened (probably re-opened) the doors to "hey, why not add more skills from more campaigns, and inscribable items, and scythes, spears, daggers, paragon shields to UW and FOW?" since they clearly can do it after having added signet of disenchantment.
Which is a really valid point. Why don't we see spears, scythes and the like down there? FOW and UW are available to anyone with factions prophecies or nightfall. If you can add signet of disenchant just to nerf a build why not add more items and skills to make it more challenging & rewarding?

Some of us don't live at our computer screens and have lives. Ursan is a way to help those of us who don't have a lot of time on our hands to actually get somewhere in game. It's not like you can just buy ursan and it's there. You do have to farm the points and it does take a little while to do. With the SF nerf, I was really enjoying the fact ecto had been brought down a peg or two. I actually thought I might be able to afford to get FoW armor, now thanks to the nerf, it's back up again. I don't see why they've started nerfing things when they've been talking about guildwars 2 coming out. Why not just leave it? Not like we'll be able to take our ecto or armor over to guildwars 2 is it?
People who think they're "leet" probably just ebay buy or spend their life at their computer.

And you'd be surprised how many people with FoW actually have lives and don't ebay, theres just the difference that they don't suck at the game.

Dang being on vacation when I got to a computer and read the update I was quite amuzed! Good update I thought it was needed and I liked how they went the extra mile to add new enemies to make it even harder.

Replace all Dream Riders with Cursed asap imo. Too bad anet didn't fix the problem from the start and reduce the duration of SF. Anyway, hopefully anet will deal with the problem faster this time.
Nice effort from anet though, I am sure they didn't expect Burning Speed (a very useless skill) to be used in this way.

I could also argue that Ursan requires skill. Think of the positioning requred to protect the backline, chaining knock-downs with co-operation and coordination. All of this with only 4 skills, no healing, no hex or condition control and no res. If you do wish to res you have to wait 30 seconds for Ursan to recharge and can't contribute effectively.
Despite all of the negatives, it still wins at PvE and gets those irritating HM missions over with.

It's only logical that Anet will react soon again. At least if they're serious about the motivation behind the Shadow Form nerf. If that's the case, embrace yourself for impact again.
Kudus though to the players who alrdy gave birth to the new perma sin. I like that spirit, kinda we against the system instead of we against we. However, good songs don't last long they say.

Great, more people complaining about no-ursan nerf and there ecto price dropping again. If you bought ecto you took a gamble and you loss. That is how it is in life and if you treat a game like your life revolves around it that is how your game is going to end up.
The permasin are not pulling 10 ecto per run anymore, most I have heard of is 6, but at the same time the nerf is driving more permasin to the UW since farming outside of it is useless now.
ANET stop listening to elitist and let the casual farmer / player have some fun before they move to GW2. Your good effort just resulted in causing more grief for the permasins that didn't want to farm ecto all the time (I was one of those) and the qq's are back in full force again due to their owe so valuable economy (meaning their stacks of ecto) is going down the drain again. If someone doesn’t want to use ursan they don’t have too, I don’t like so I don’t use it. If someone one doesn’t like to use permasins no one is forcing them to use it. If someone doesn’t want to grind titles no one is forcing them to grind titles. If someone doesn’t want to farm the game is setup that no one ever has to farm.

Is anyone else besides me just missing the fun of UW speed runs? Being a terra was definitely some of the most fun I've had in the game of late.
