Are you going to move on to GW2?

I'll probably make my decision of whether I want to buy it or not off the beta. In fact, if I don't plan on buying GW2, I'll stop playing GW, since there won't be a point to it if I'm not going to do GW2. If I do want it, I'll probably pre-order Collector's or something, and become a fan of the game again.
I honestly haven't had a problem with ANY of the changes that A-Net has made. I've been playing for nearly three years now and playing on and off due to real life. I've bought ALL expansions and I know damn well I'll be picking up GW2, assuming my pc can even handle it as the grass in EoTN is always red for me.

I have faith that GWs2 will be good so I will buy it. However, I will still play GWs1 as I have friends who have just begun in GWs1. Also, I have lots of characters who have not finished it, nor have I done everything there is to do in GWs1. Far from it! So I guess I will be playing both games at the same time for quite a while after GWs2 comes out.
As for doing the same things over and over again as the OP inquired...I think it is fun and enjoyable to just to be in a nice atmosphere and take on the personas of the lovely characters that I have. I don’t mind doing the same thing more than once at all. The world is so vast, it is sometimes months before I return to the same area again and by then they are seen from the perspective of a different character.

Too early to say? I'll wait until after or during the beta before I can make the call. I'm not going to play a game just because I liked its predecessor. On the same token I'm not going to not play a game just because I didnt like where some parts of its predecessor went.
I will play it if it appeals to me, although at this point too it also depends if I ever get a gaming PC again. I've ditched my old PC and am now only on Macs - they were always my primary, but I had an old testing PC to run games on. So who knows. I just think my platform issues aside, its folly to decide one way or the other on this issue until we know more. Much more.

I'm debating.
If it comes out around my college years (class of 2010. junior this upcoming year), then I will be either not playing MMOs in general or I'll be playing the biggest thing out there (possibly WoW). We'll have to see.
Ursan has killed my outlook on GW. One of my guild officers is trying to force the usage of the classic Team Builds for some elite areas instead of just mindlessly using Ursan. I'm worried to see PvE fall like it did.
I might take a leave from Guild Wars right now to start my career on YouTube and such. Laugh all you want at that - it's my life. Then I will come back around beta time and such. I'm bored as it is trying to get to where I can have fun, but it isn't worth it to put so much work into a game. I'd rather just not play than work on a game that really doesn't mean much to real-life.
I guess I'll just see in time.
I just wish that GW was like it was 2 years ago... but you can't bring back the past.

i have 4 GW account and yes I'm moving on coz after i have so much money dont even pve anymore and their is no point farming for a crappy 50k or less item or 100k but omg freaking hard to sell.
SO yes I'm moving on in 23th Sept. for Warhammer.
I will play GW though coz its free and will move to GW2 when it come out coz my HoM have a lot of goody in it and i want to know what i earn in GW2. If all my effort go to waste coz of crappy reward then i wont play it and i will move on to Warhammer40k online that will be out around 2011.

i wanna try the beta, but im getting really bored of gw and if it isnt different from anything else ill jst move on. i allready dont have a lot of times to play games anymroe as it is

Since Guild Wars has nothing but Grind to offer players until release of Guild Wars 2 I've been playing World of Warcraft. Now that I'm hooked on World of Warcraft unless Guild Wars can offer something that would bring down the Giant I see no reason to leave World of Warcraft. Yeah, it's $15 a month but so far it seems worth every penny paid.
No subscription fee, is not worth a sub par game. World of Warcraft sets the par IMO.
