Also try Thirsty River Mission i got 4 on the 1st run and 5 on the second lots of bosses that drop 2 in one go 
all in all took way less than an hour to get all 10

Got all outside Dunes of Despair, Ranger SoS easy. At first I got maybe 2 in about 10 runs. Then I think ANet turned up the drop rate because I got 4 in one run and 4 in the next. Or it might just be roll of the dice. But I prefer to think ANet finally did something nice. Usual stuff but another 10 mysterious summoning stones are always welcome!

Setting out from Gunnar's Hold, can avoid most of the enemies on the way (as you can see, I didn't really do that). Looking for 3 frigid mandragor husks.

Ice Cliff Chasms has a couple groups of mandragors outside of Eye of the North that can be killed with a SoS build. Got 4 husks already on two groups.

I am farming these on the 'Cure of the Nornbear' quest, right at the start there is a group and also if you go to the left from where you start there is another group. Kill about 9 in 2/3 mins using spirit spam.
I am sure there are many quicker ways, but just in case anyone is struggling, that is what I am doing.

There's also some close to the portal to Norrhart Domains in Bjora Marches. You can zone back and forth and get to them quickly each time.

Easy farm outside EotN. Sometimes one group drops 3 husks. About 25 min to collect 15.

or you can do frostmaw they have tons of mandragors in them. and for those buying the husks like i did becareful. had someone try and scam me with the wrongs husks. xD

Galderyn's posted spot works pretty well. You can kill the dervish boss as well in the hopes of a green, like I did when I got his scythe.

do a bunch of frostmaw's runs with alliance mates. the chest in there is amazing and you can beat it in under an hour in HM with 6 heroes and another person running AP, some necros.

I also did it in the spot Galderyn posted. 5 runs to get 30 husks for 2 accounts. I wasn´t hoping for a greenie from the boss but he dropped double husk twice

One place to farm geodes:
I go in with a full party, clear the path of all plants with the heroes, and then flag them back and SoS the beetles. I average 3-5 per run.

Used spirit-spam in the southwest portion of Holdings of Chokhin. There might be better farms, but I was happy to get plant fibers along the way.

Can't think of a better place. Had a bunch in storage so will farm later this week. But the drop rate is good and with only five a target goal, those without a farming build can go after any groups of beetles and it should not take long.

Out of mihanu township, in Mirror of lyss, go down heading south avoiding beasts: there are 4-5 groups to farm. Easy until you blind annoying rangers.

As suggested by others -- Beetle farming outside Wehhan Terraces in Yatendi Canyons. Take a full team of heroes/henchies. Kill the foes at spots 1 to 5 then pin your heroes/henchies somewhere near spot 4. Solo the beetles at spots 6 to 8 using a spirit spamming build.
8-9 min run. Got 4 geodes on my first run.
Depending on the spawns you can just kill the foes at 2, 4 & 5, avoiding the foes at 1 & 3 and cutting the time on the run to 6-7 mins.

Faster route. Either take a full party or solo it. Kill the foes at spot 1. Pin your heros/henches at that spot. Kill the beetles at spots 2 to 4.

Easy week IMO, i got mines in 7mins and considering all you need is one item/gift, the drop rate was high for me....

I found the best run for me was to do Mirror of Lyss. Leave from Mihanu Township and you can hit 4 groups (and a Chest or 2) with out hitting anything else.
There are some beasts around the area but they can be avoided easily.
