i remember my NCSoft account, still have the email.
I just can't use it on website since the old ID (ncsoft-11111-myemail-provider-com-1) is too long for the new website.
And of course now I can't link my GW account to my new NCSoft bcse it is linked to previous account.

One for the game itself. 1 for Xunlai Tournament. 1 "master account" which I have used like 2 times in the last 3 years
I was swearing and scratching my head for the last hour and a half trying to remind what's my "master account" login. Finally I managed to do it and when I thought I'll get code for free tab just in few seconds...
The specified account is already linked to another NCsoft account. Please contact Customer Support if you require additional help.
Last time I contacted Customer Support I had to spend 2 hours in my loft - trying to find activation cards for all campaigns. Had to go trough few thousand emails trying to find out when I opened my GW account

I had created a NCSoft account, with the same address [email protected], but never linked anything to it, because it was useless.
I have been able to link my newest GW accounts (that have different emails), but it's impossible to link my main account because it is "already linked to another NCSoft account" (although the email is the same).

Yeah, I'm having quite a bit of problems with it as well. I think I remember a username, but it's too long. So I can't try it. I don't have any of the game activation cards anymore as this account is over 3 years old. Sigh. Suppose I'll have to mail and beg support. The one NCSoft account I do remember a username of, doesn't have my main account linked to it - it's linked to something else.

Someone please explain to me why Anet couldn't just simply have the extra storage pane opened onto our accounts already? Rather then make us stuff around with the plaync site?
They did it the first time we got the storage updates, why not now???

FYI got my old plaync account's name (which I also forgot to write in my password manager) from an email exchanged with support a while ago. Useful search feature from gmail!

Has anyone who has bought something on the online store without linking accounts before been able to get the free pane without having the "your account is already linked" error ?
Seems like you had to have your account linked to use the online store... There's a problem somewhere, as I never had to link anything to buy GWEN online...

I finally managed to get the pane for my both accounts. I never created a NCSoft account through their website at least and honestly didn't have anything related to it in my email (gmail search ftw), but after some random attempts at password recovery I use I managed to get the account name right.
Even though I really don't remember creating one, I know it was mine because it has a specific name I use in this stuff, and it already had my GW account linked to it. So this must be from when I bought the BMP. Also link my 2nd GW account to it and also gave it the free pane. But ffs, could anet/ncsoft make this any more confusing? Got around 10 emails trying to figure this out, with errors in password reseting, email verifications and blank emails, when sometimes it worked dispite the errors, and others it didn't.

After finally retrieving my account I got the free storage upgrade.
Getting my password back was a bitch, but luckily I only use 3 types of account names.
Had to do the same thing for Lotro earlier this morning.

Finally found back the account name too... They should really add something to retrieve your NCSoft account info using your GW account info.

Back then, you didn't have to create an account on their page. Just enter your details and you'll get an email.
Only problem, is that in 2006 I 'tied' my game account with that ticket and now when I log into my real account, which I created in 2007, and try to link it with my GW account, I get an error saying that my game account is already linked.
How come a 3-year old ticket is still tied to my GW account? It doesn't make any sense. I think I will have to contact support.

Same problem here for me and my wife both. We have accounts dating back to 2004, have used the Guild Wars store occasionally, and both have NCSoft accounts. Our NCSoft accounts work just fine, I can log in and change details and everything, but our Guild Wars accounts don't show up anywhere.
When we try to purchase the storage tabs, it prompts me to link an unlisted account, when I enter the account info it says they are already linked to another NCSoft account. We don't have any other accounts. It's got to be a bug.

I sent an email request NC account password ,and they told me to
sent them Serial number for "ALL" guild wars expansion.
I got Proph,Faction, and eotn but not Nightfall because I lost the box.

Its not that hard to regain your data, simply contact them via support, send them your mail (the one you need to log into your game) and the access key, though im not sure if you need to actually make a picture of the access key (think I had to, long time ago), shouldnt take much time till you get what you need.

Yeh am having same problem, and when I tried to make a new one and link my GW account to it,durh it's apparently already linked to this account I really can't remember making...needs moar cowbell.

I forgot mine too but I dont see why Why didnt they make it available thru the ingame store or for that matter just add it on to the accounts automatically. Its stupid to demand registration for it.

lol thats epic...gg ncsoft,same problem here, I doubt I will ever find the ncsoft account linked to my gw account(neither account name nor pw),sent email to retrieve password of an account I thought was right,after some thought I found out it isnt,have all the serial numbers,so i hope they gonna try to help at least...

Yikes, yes, I'm having trouble with it too. I have no idea what the account name was for my main account. My alt account is attached to a second email and master account, and the master account tied to the email I use regularly only has my Dungeon Runners account linked to it. But when I try to link my main gw account to one of those, it tells me it's already tied to an account. I've checked every email address I know I have for old email notifications that might have a clue to my master account, but nothing.
I suppose I could fill out their form and ask, but who knows if I can scratch up an old code that's from the proper account. I only remember starting to save those when I started my alt account.
Oh well, the alt was supposed to be my mule to begin with, I guess it needed the tab more.

It's a common problem. I am pretty sure I have them linked cause I had to use my Master Account to change my Guildwars Password at one point. And I have bought the unlock packs and Eye of the North and character slot through the store. Retriving the password says my account name is with an email address. I can use the email address to login using the "log In" on the upper part of the screen, but going to the store the login it is too long. And the Store login dosen't recognize the login that I had written down from before for the master account. Very annoying. I did set up a dungeon runner account long ago but uninstalled it. I wonder if the Download/Game runner client would have the proper information for changes and logging in? I sent in a support ticket with the keys for the items I purchased thourgh the store i hope that helps and can get cleared up. I wish you could make a new account and merge old ones if found.

After sorting through all my emails, I still couldn't locate anything in the way of a master account ID for my main, but I did find all the keys from EotN preorder, EotN, and all the unlocks that I've bought for that account. I never had the keys for the first 3 games because a friend in another town bought those and pm'd me the keys so we could play, so I hope they can at least work with the keys I could find. I submitted a ticket, but from what I've read here and other threads, they've been turning people down who didn't have ALL the codes.

Oh my god this is so annoying. I managed to find out my account name but I forgot the password. When I tried to reset the password, I answered all the questions correctly and got a message saying that a new password would be sent to me. I check my email inbox and there is nothing. 4 times already I tried to reset and there is still no email from ncsoft. I give up.

yep, epic fail @anet. Way to make something that should be pretty straightforward, into yet another debacle.
I have my old support emails. My login was my email address, which won't fit in the new login. My account is tied, so I can't make a new one. I'm dead in the water. If I have to provide all my keys, I will never be able to login again. Nice.
