I think the joke is that the guy was running BS, but in case that wasn't enough blind, he also had a stance to blind.

Anyways, this isn't the stupidest thing I heard, this is the stupidest thing ever.
Doing Heart of the Shiverpeaks, I got on a team, grab my Assassin heroes and my spirit spam rit and headed off with 4 pugs (4 heroes). One player and his hero ended up leaving thus have just six of us.
We did really good, we got up to Cynder. My rit used Earthbind while I used Great Dwarf Weapon on my Assassins and the Warrior so Cynder would be knocklocked. The 2 players also ran kegs, while I kept protective bond on everyone and spamming infuse.
We bombed Cynder, got his blue bar AND nothing changed. He took no damage while his bar is blue. He was still riding on 0 damage, he was literally in God Mode. Thank god my Assassins had Vampiric Weapons or it would have been GG.
It was so stupid, the god mode bug does exist but only Cynder can use it.
Um, Anet? Do I get "Killer of Gods (1)" Title?

While killing Glint, she got stuck in a loop of just sort of shivering on the spot and not attacking - easy win.
While killing Shiro, he got stuck in his Meditation pose from around 75% hp and never got out of it. Another easy win... Now I know neither of these two bosses are hard, but it was odd to just poke them to death.

If your bugs happened recently, it might have to do with an up and coming update or something. Lets hope the bugs are not there to stay.

edit: given it a bit of thought and i think i figured it out if the player left on level 1/2 when the party loaded level 2/3 the hero "left" too (imma slowpoke

He's collecting different things now." The guy says, "They'll come around again."
I was floored. Thinking of all the things that Nick had collected thus far -- trophy items, materials, salvage items -- and the massive variety of such things in the game, I couldn't even begin to imagine how many years it would take before the requests started repeating.
All I could say to the guy was, "Ah. Well, good luck with that."
I still wonder how long he stood there waiting for a sale.

The reason I was being sarcastic is that indeed a blue Djinn essence came back, but it was from water Djinns, not sapphire, and a lot of people used that to scam with, selling Sapphire essences for extreme prices. I simply pretended to be a person who got scammed and kept on believing I didn't

met a guy who was wts'ing 22 zkeys for 110 k. That's 5 k each key. I only had money for 2 so I asked him if I could buy 2. He said no, because he wanted to sell them all at the same time. I asked him why, he told me to shut up. Then, seeing as I'm kinda stubborn when someone are rude to me (a curse of mine), I went on with arguing with him and in the end I got this answer:
"Listen dude, I've had several people like you who only wanted to buy 10, 5, and like u 2, for the past 3 hours, and I won't make an exception with you"
I simply couldn't resist telling him that if he sold those keys separetely from start, he would have sold them all for the same price, and probably not have had to stand there for 3 hours+ XD That comment was probably what got me on his ignore list XD

Look what you did!" then kept calling us "bitches". He acted pretty mad. I wasn't sure if he was terrible at his job of gold farming or if he was a troll.
