for the EoTN double rep weekend, I decided to go and vanquish some areas around Rata Sum. I got with a couple of really good, balanced groups. I ended up vanquishing Magus Stones, Riven Earth, and another area I forget the name of. As I decide to start the cycle over again in order to get to my next title rank, this guy adds me. He then orders me to use 3 necro heroes. He was already using three necros, so I said it wasn't needed, especially because we didn't have healers.

So he ordered me to bring 3 necros. Again. And then once more.

I gave in and asked him to ping his necros so that when I add my heroes I can copy their builds. He then ordered me again to add my 3 necros. I added them and asked him to ping his necro builds. Instead, he asked me to ping my builds. I asked one more time in all caps to please ping his builds so I can copy them. He pinged one build, some PvX N/Rt farm build. I copied, but was missing 3 skills. When I told him, he kicked me.

It being 3 in the morning and myself hating when people kick for not having specific builds anyway, I was getting annoyed and told him I hoped he couldn't find a party with his attitude.

Right after I got frustrated and said "Don't act like I don't know what I'm doing," this was our conversation.

"you don't have the skills man. they what you do" is my favorite part.
I'd assume he was foreign, but I find foreign players are usually good with English.

Ppl is lame , you should know it. Ursan times , now Discord times , you dont have it ? they leave , dont know how to play , they just call , play a gimmick build and think they know sht.

Yes , foreign players that join the american or english districts should know a bit of english but remember there are so many lamers that will mock those players because its bad english at any chance they get .

Well my main character in GW is my rit and named Show Some Skin. Every now and then i get a pm from someone random saying like "What skin do you want me to show?

" or something else stupid. I just fake an lol and regret ever making the name

And the other day: i was in Doomlore Shrine looking for a dungeon run when some assassin started talking in all chat about how no scammer ever beats him and how he writes the names down and "lols" when they try to switch accounts to scam him. After listening to him he said everyone should "Report and take GW more seriously". I said "Why take GW seriously?" he said "Why not? If you dont take GW seriously you obviously have no life and need to uninstall"

OH! and my favorite: I was in Doomlore trying to get a CoF HM run because i had nothing better to do atm. I said "LFR CoF HM 3k pls" then after got pms saying "CoF is 2k noob" and people saying i was stupid for wanting to pay 3k.

I like this one. But it happens quite frequently, although admittedly not as blatantly - when selling things for Nicholas the Traveller, I've often noticed, in the _same trade chat_...

"WTS X for 500g each"
"WTB X for 700g each"

They'll both completely overlook each other. That's when I jump in and get the 700g instead of the guy blindly spamming WTS for 500 XD

Its funny to watch but its pretty normal .People in spamadan america d1 often spams without having the trade channel active . You can chat on alliance , clan and some pms without having to scroll down because of the massive trade chan msg. Its more like "i sell <stuff> <price> pm " or somethin .

Was doing Aurora Glade today w/ a decent group. Got through the mission, talked to bonus guy etc. When the demo guy was alone, our group went to kill him when one of the monks was like "No dont, you'll f*ck the bonus." We were like...wtf? So we argued for like 2 min when the ranger said w/e, lets just kill him. The monk starting telling the crystal runner to run faster. Thank gawd she didn't listen until demo was dead.

So killing the demo guy = bonus f*cked? O.o

I remember doing one of the 4/4 team Ascalon missions in hard mode. And we passed a group of Charr we didn't have to kill. But someone in the team wanted to go back and kill them. When we explained that it's not necessary to kill them he/she said "but they look stuped."

Wasn't a scam when I saw it (seriously, 700g, that's a lot of trouble for 700g) - mostly people selling Nicholas shmuck. You know, like the bog skale fins. They really were selling past each other - I know because I PMed the guy who WTBed at 700g and he was still looking for them. I sold 'em to him. Might not have been 500/700, but I've frequently managed to get a decent price compared to all the people spamming WTS simply because I noticed someone desperately trying to WTB.

That's not actually quite as stupid as it first sounds. Quite a few monks don't carry res skills, as ressing in the middle of a battel can be the death of the PuG. They often expect other players to carry them so they can focus on keeping everyone else alive.

On the other hand, it's probably also a good idea to make sure that the rest of the PuG knows that this is the plan. Not all players are aware of the strategy (thinking newer players or those that don't read the wiki) and a team which leaves the ressing to the monk while the monk expects others to do it - and in which no one checks who brings the res is a pretty daft team indeed. As a mainly monk player myself, I'd always check who the PuG expects to res.
