Paragons won't be useful to anyone until their shouts last indefinitely, their attacks are AoE, and they stop looking so gay.

Mesmers won't be useful to anyone until their hexes last indefinitely, their spells are AoE, and they stop looking so gay.

Dervishes won't be useful to anyone until their enchantments last indefinitely, their scythes can be thrown from longbow range, and they stop looking so gay.

And Rangers won't be useful to anyone until Splinter Weapon is buffed, their spirits get lower casting speed, and they stop looking so gay.


Seeping Wound still deals over 100 damage during a spike, which is more than Palm Strike. Make the recharge 20 seconds and increase duration to 1...7 seconds, or just revert it to what it used to be before the update.

Of course you'll be back for guildwars 2, people will soon forget all the the issues with this game once the guildwars 2 hype starts and the game arrives.

I'm sure at some point in the life of guildwars 2 the game balance will go to s**t and they'll give you Shadow Form v2. :P

Go and PVP with the paragon. Try RA,JQ,FA,Codex. After several rounds tell me how usefull you were, what was the win/lose raport (in conditions when both team had same number of players without any leecher).

I'm 100% sure you don't have a paragon or if you have one don't play with it cause you don't know how to play with it (the word noob remainds you of something?). I added you to ignore, you are to "pro" for me if you are wondering why. This reminds me the fact that people like you were one the reasons I decided not to post to much in forums.

L.E.: Anyway I'm losing time here, like I lost on the feedback page. They change the skills ignoring players opinions, they don't really test before changing something, then when they fail big time they change again... This was actually one of the most competent updates, except for the ninja update today that cleared the post-update pre-monthly euro AT off observer mode. They're continuing to add depth to necro skills seemingly with split templates in mind for the blood attribute, tweaked down the handful of problem gvg skills, and made some fairly well thought-out pvp buffs for hammer & tactics even under the notion that they're pve buffs. The update was previewed a week early, the dev notes explanation is clear headed, defers to player feedback where appropriate, and even lays out the changes between the preview and the actual update. Pretty solid showing all-around, even for a buff update which usually end up creating long-term problems.

Hurr Durr I don't understand why Paragons don't get buffed, unstrippable chants and shouts are good for the game amirite?

Paragons are a VERY hard class to even look at changing, and for someone who is apparently an expert on it you just have no idea. If you even played when nightfall was released, paragons were INSANELY broken and overpowered. I don't want to go back to that just because you have a hardon for paragons.

Greetings. Just wanted to update this thread with this info: as we mentioned earlier, our devs were taking a closer look at Seeping Wound, in response to feedback which we collected from players via the forums and other sources. There were also some localized text issues, which were corrected.

Who appointed you to speak for everyone? I am not buying the second one. Everything I've read about it screams that I won't be buying it (guns, more focus on making me have to party with real people, persistent world, ect).

So, I'll make this clear, as that point seems to be too difficult for you to grasp. I AM NOT BUYING IT. End of story.

Same with Diablo 3. I heard the same stupid thing when I said I wasn't going to buy that one either. Don't tell me what I am or am not going to do.

Mesmers, I think they should a little improvement in Guild Wars, since they are quite hard to use as a player. Paragons...ummmm....I think you guys have the imbagon build. Dervishes, they seem to be fine the way they are, but I would wish they would reduce the energy cost of some of the Dervish AoE enchantment spells.

just made a solo fendi build using a monk and shadow form.. the damage reduction isn't working though- I have 2 assassin enchants and not getting the -10 reduction?

Wow, so now I understand why the rich get richer and the rest of us plebes just learn to do without... a couple friends of mine already got frustrated and quit... (if blah, blah, blah wasn't so expensive then I might actually spend time playin' this game they said) sad, really sad 'cause we had a lot of fun playin' a 3 monk team... anyways, here's a good ol' "teabag" for you Anet... from my monk for my friends' sakes... geewhiz thanks... 'spose I could just go back to healing and prot'ing random non-idiots and letting the rest die... isn't that what monks are 'sposed to do best anyways???

p.s. I think the previous poster meant to say "smite-ness" ? same difference?

funniest part is the SF wasn't even really nerfed. Sins can do chaos plains now solo. =)

A serious question for all the people who hated SF and 600/smite because it killed team play, and GW is a team game...


Do you really think it's better now that, having nerfed 600, 8 human DTSC takes 20-25 minutes without trying to find a team, and fails often, whereas Discordway hero/hench takes 30 minutes (less with cons or fallback) and even 1 death in the party is a rare event? Is that really your idea of playing as a team? Discouraging the one thing that was actually reasonably puggable and making h/h solo more attractive yet again?

Don't get me wrong, I prefer my heroes to people and I'm glad the time difference is so negligible now that I don't feel stupid using h/h instead of doing SC. But is that really what you wanted?

speed clears for MQ and DT were an incidental casualty of the nerfs, not the cause of it

Eh, everyone knew it was too late. The game has been designed around 600/smite and SF, look at eotn dungeons using that shrieking monster skill that removes enchants.

The game needs a major redesign... which wont happen.

Yeah, and yet when it's forum whinging you're talking about, most of them were whinging about DTSC for 600/smite and UW/FoW SC for SF. The question is specifically aimed at those who had a problem with SC's promoting a lack of balanced play and "proper" teams, and there were enough of them claiming that as their reason for complaint. I rarely saw QQ about dungeons being run, but then I may have blocked it out..

I like the new tactics skills. I see good potential with the blocks and the upkeep shouts. Now what I would like to see is a skill that will take monster aggro. That would make tanking easier than just nervously trying to hold all aggro with fear that it could easily break.

It will get down to 15-20 minutes again as soon as the players have learned to play their builds appropriate; particularly the smiters act mostly extremly stupid, e.g. casting SoJ on you if there's only one foe left who doesn't attack anyway.

In a simple word. Yes.

That was their purpose: to slow gimmicks down so that they're no more the most obvious choice for "efficiency".

You know, GW is a hobby. The time spent in doing things you like shouldn't matter that much.

So we shouldnt have a choice in the matter?...its slow paced or no paced at all?

remember the idea of GW is to build fast and efficient builds to clear area's/missions.....this is only a minor setback im already farming ecto on chaos plains so im happy again.
