Basically they have removed any reason for the established player to carry on playing. Time to move on to a new game methinks. All there was left to do was farm now they destroyed that F*** you very much Anet
The campaigns themselves have little or no appeal left, pvp is exhausted and dull the only enjoyment i had remaining was farming now thats gone, well >Uninstall

GG A-net for making unfavorable classes(dervish, mesmer) even more unfavorable now that farms are going to back to team orientation. I was hoping for something that was part of the "other skills" to be at least something useful for the two classes I mentioned. So now my comments are going to be heard and dervs+mes are going to get their update in 5 months?

What will kill a 55 HP perma sin with a non stop anti spell prot spirit auto 5 dmg reduction and IaU for cripple?

for what I read, damage reduction from Shadow Form comes before Prot Spirit, so a 55 HP 'Sin would die the same way a 55 Monk would.

The damage cap is probably calculated at the end, so any dmg buff will end up being wasted. Has anyone tried this yet?

Nice update on the whole. Looks like some good opportunities there to try out some new Warrior, Ritualist and Necromancer builds, or at least tweak some existing ones. There are some skills there that I liked as they were, but the new versions should also be interesting.

I have some mixed feelings about the update but ultimately I am most disappointed in the lack of love for the mesmers. There isn't another core class that has gotten the shaft more than the mesmer. Very dissapointed and I hope A-net has some kind of outlook for mesmers or they might as well just delete them from the game.

Just tested on the isle of nameless and 0 dmg. But KD and interupt are still possible (IaU/dwarven stabilty for KD then) and disenchant mele (spirits/order)

Can't help but think that shadow form as it is now is going to make for a rather interesting bunch of new Droks Runners, over way more classes than before.. Just a thought.

Haven't played GW in a while, but I think this will change it. One Q about SF, as it states"You cannot deal more than 5...21...25 damage with a single skill or attack." Does this mean that you can only deal 25 damage with a skill, or 25 damage per damage "package". For Example: Firstorm does 20 damage per second for 10 seconds, will this be 200 damage total, or 25?

In all the imagination |I have so for the 600SF tank combined with SS necro going to be a good solution for farming. Monks can keep SF up now but smiting doesn't help so just take the SS from the 55/SS and ecto's can be farmed

What happened to Demonic flesh? First update said it would steal life and now it does shadow damage... The life stealing thing was better than the +health functionality, but dealing only shadow damage is worse because we have enough ways to apply damage and +200 life for a necro in HM makes a lot of difference.

My "perma crying" is not over PvE; I could care less about PvE. It's about the changes in PvP. Seeping Wound is so OP now. Oppressive Gaze just adds more melee hate. Ritualists have crappy degen hexes. Spirit spamming is being encouraged again. Some of the hammer warrior changes are just stupid like Dwarven Battle Stance. My problem is that they've basically tried to merge PvE and PvP.

hmm almost no whining and just 12 pages for update dealing with sf and 600 changes. Or the mods are deleting too much or we have a serious decline in the Guru community.
I like the update. I used hammers a lot and updates above are most welcomed. I wonder when mesmers and paras will get some love.

After some testing last night, this is a pretty good update.
There are only two potential PvP problems:
1) Auspicious Parry: getting +4 adren by cycling Frenzy every 5 seconds is bad. Warriors shouldn't be able to spam good adrenaline skills on every swing of an axe.
2) "Fear Me" - this permits a Sin to spam Jagged -> Fox -> Blossom/Shattering under Flurry all day. Stupid amount of pressure in the right team build.
I haven't played around with the new SF or OF yet, so I can't speak to those. The new OF looks maintainable if your aggros are sufficiently aggressive, but running past long strings of monsters would be tricky. The Mo/A 55 tank sounds interesting, but it's probably not too imbalanced if it needs support to kill anything.
As of this post hardly anything has been deleted from the thread.

To be able to tank with a sin you have to be A/Me. And stop complaining about Mesmers, atm they are better SF tankers then A/Me. As Me/A now u have insane energy (so easy to get it), anti KD, anti intrerupts and of course you can maintain SF.
As A/Mo you have a lot of problems: KD, conditions,daze,intrerupts (all of this will kill u).

You are wrong about the fact that Assassins will play their class. Assassins will chose other classes weapons cause it's way more easier then play their own class weapon and cause surprise the dps is higher using other classes weapons.

I did Darkrime and the new skills mean that between Blood and Channeling (with a human Rit player in the party also) my Orders Oli is FINALLY able to fill up his whole skillbar with useful skills.
