enemies now run out of AOE spells and just stand their doing nothing sometimes, especialy when solo.

Like if we were inside FA CAVE, before they nerfed it, and I nuked the Furnace guardain on the left and your took the one on the right who you think win killing race? My bet is I would proabably win who kils faster! I could proababbly kill in less than 1 min! an earth ele who relized on suck conditiosn as knockdown dont have much effect on them, in that race its about dam! i bet even if you had earth 16 and I had Fire 14 I probably still win! Yadda yadda.. people whine and whine. If you, as a player, are gettting affected by AoE, you don't stand on that same spot, you move your ass away from it. So why shouldn't the foes in PvE do the same? Because you can't farm a 100 foes group at once anymore? Awwww poor you! Give me a break.

1) It's not all about damage.
2) I didn't say anyone should switch, the elements are about EQUAL now.
3) This is a very important point, that nukers were the only class before now that never had to change their builds depending on the occasion.

100 blades is a 1 shot SWORD skill, enemies should not run form it.
YET ANOTHER SKILL that warrios now cant use to tank effectivly. (dont harp on about snares, they are not as efficent).

This game was clearly designed so you couldn't go out alone to kill things and survive. Unfortunately, they made warriors, fire elems and the invincimonks able to do just that. They are trying to correct these errors.
The whiners are proving that this update was needed. When I see people complain that they can't solo 20 or 30 monsters at once, I feel like hurling. Since when is it reasonable for one character to be able to survive 30 on 1? Realistically, nobody should be able to handle more than 2 or 3 vs. 1. Maybe 5 at the most. Go walk down dark alleys until you get jumped by 3 guys. You think you will win?
Thank your lucky stars that you were able to exploit these imbalances as long as you did. If you don't want to play Guild Wars because of this change, please go back to your kiddie games. Some people are never happy unless they have an unfair advantage. I won't miss you at all.

I am just sad, couse we could make all the q in uw in 3-4 hours and now it will take about 10 so how i am supposed to play Gw. Ignite still does. I can solo 1 of any monster now since all they do is run back and forth and can't decide whether or not to run or fight. OMFG ingite is hitting me for 4 dmg run!!! For all the people that like the update its PvE not PvP. If I wanted a challenge and some fun I would do PvP. If PvE ever became like PvP whereas it takes around 2-3 minutes to take down 1 group in 4vs4 ca that would just suck. I have never nuked anything. I have never used fire on my ele after lvl 10. My only PvE warrior is lvl 11 so it doesn't farm. I mean wtf. It is total bullshit. Missions take forever. And all the people who want realism this is a game. Not real life if you want that go and live it and just quit the game.

As for whirling, I'd call that a bug and not intended; So why do you use it as a counter argument, its simply one of those things that occurs when you add things.

Well ive re-tested it and you seem to be right, although im still not sure about 100 blades as they did once.
But throw dirt still makes them run, and wirling defense.
(but still i dont really care, this update has taken some of the fun out of it. Its not at all harder just a little more longwinded and some skills are now not worth using, yea you can use snare but its not worth the effort).

I like the fact that they are making pve harder, by having more "intellegent" npc's. But I dislike when the monsters run around pointlessly during some spells (and skills).

Simple Solution to all of ANet's problems:
Protective Spirit: For x seconds, target OTHER ally cannot lose more than 10% of his health due to a single spell or attack
Same with bond. Don't nerf the skill, just fix it.

As far as being on-topic goes, I enjoy the changes to the henchmen, although I think that some of the implementation of the patch vs. enemies is silly-- watching the Aatxes run back and forth makes me smile.
Yes, it's apparent that people are too hung up on the changes to the enemies to notice the changes to the henchmen. I know I'm happy that Mhenlo and Lina stop standing in Maelstroms.

By changing only 2 of my kills and some weapons i find farming griffons and minos easier. UW seems more rewarding. got 4 ectos in 2 runs, though i keep dying easier out of carelesness on my part. I'm not saying i like the changes, but it's not all that hard to adapt to.

Is retard to see a bunch of aatxes run away from a necro (me) casting unholy feast. It works in melee range and is a 1 shot aoe spells. Why the hell should lev 28 monsters run away from a necro? They can pulverize me in 2 seconds.
Is this supposed to be realistic?
