Personally, I would be quite worried if someone got into my party in real-life without me knowing, and then tried to sell me some junky weapons...
Beacon's Perch. Or Port Sledge. A nice quiet mountain village, with good scenery and not too far from the City (Droknar's Forge).

Thats sort of what they do in EVE, you can create a private chat channel and then invite other to join it, sort of like an instant messenger eg MSN.
