No, the lvl 5 Ascalon Knights are NPCs. You see a few of them dead in the Dragon's Lair mission. No idea why and how they came there.=s

Melonni makes it actually pretty easy, just equip her with Heart of Holy Flame or Avatar of Balthazar for double damage on Undeads. I completed it...
