You cannot get banned on runs, period. ANet has explicitly said that runs are unsupported and you run/be runned at your own risk.

As much as the extra skill(s) could be useful, I think 8 is just fine. Dont wanna be overwhelmed with 900,000 skills are over your screen.
Well henchys/heros dont spawn unspawned enemys (why the UA hero runner worked) but if they are already spawned....Yeah fix it its annoying to run...
