Definitely go para, they are great!!! Also when your done with your sin go with a rit...my fave profession!!!

I agree, i find its a useful skill as well because it eases the amount of damage your party takes and lets them concentrate more on there own jobs...

RITS (mainly in low lvl areas)!!! because of spirit rift.
