it's not really a big deal though. just stand on the traps until they do go off. The wars wont be able to kill u quick enough before the traps...
As for color suggestion, go for a color that would match either the dragon gauntlets or the icy gauntlets for consistency ;-)
u could always manually turn it all off everytime u fight, but that might become tiresome ;-)
