Just for Lolz, do the Norn Fighting Tournament with a pure beastmaster build. It's pretty funny to see your pet tanking Magni without a problem.

Just cleared the plains now. It takes a long time and is boring as hell but I did end up with 8 total ectos (see 7 in pack and one on the ground)....
