My guess would be the sudden rise in voltaic spear farming. There should be a guide in the farming section.

His only heals have 10-15 second recharge. Purge has 20 second recharge. Glowing Signet would only give 5 energy. Remedy Signet only targets self....

For a max golem, use a +1 death magic scar with a sup death rune. That makes 12+1+3=16 death magic; the highest you can get without consumables or...
I use minor death, minor vigor, bloodstained. Then whatever other random insignias I have lying around. I tend not to equip my heroes very well....
One problem you may run into is party size. It ranger from 2-12 depending on where you are. So if you got 10 friends, and the group size is 8......
