I agree with the OP. 80% of people are standing and fighting anyway. consider the extra high mana cost, it just didn't interest me.
showing fame and rank should be optional. Not everyone want to show their fame
more pride for the pros will always promote the overall skill level.
Rather than needing someway to setup the practice arena, why not just make everyone in the hall can attack anyone.
