Definately don't merch it. Pretty rare skin and max matching mods so I reckon at least 25k. Not sure though.

Yep, I reckon that the value follows a normal distribution which changes depending on what dropped the item. The highest value I've got was 516g

In some locations the lighting can make it look whiter. That's probably what happened in this case.
