Playing through pretty much any of the longer dungeons will give you a ton of points. I'm r5 or 6 now, and I haven't farmed for a moment.
Sandstorm is bad, unsteady ground is not.
Frostmaw was really, really easy. If you bring bad players/builds you can't reasonably expect to win every battle.
