You can try farming devourers in thirsty river... I do that as a mo/n (normal hp, no special armor) and just bring regen enchants, balth spirit /...

He could just use Deathy Chill or a Dark Aura bomber / 55 for them... pretty sure that works atm. If you have the option to not pull more than 3...

afaik mesmers in factions don't have enchant removal since...well...ever. They just interrupt (hence the MoR).
