yes ... yes you are pretty lucky ... My 1st character (beat the game, farms daily) superior runes unlocked or received to date = 0 2nd third...
I am also stacked at about 4K per hour at best ... but runes seem to drop better when in groups of 3 peeps i noticed. when alone i can clear 2...

at level 7 monk you cant do alot with regards to farming cash or items ... at leas tnot until yaks. So you will likely have to come up with...
