Honestly... this flaw has been discussed to death. I was one of the vivid complainers about it back then. But I seriously gave up on the issue...
Could be anti afk measures. Sort of like "do nothing, get nothing".
They should do something about this because there are multiple way to get a character stuck. Some of which may be a bit exploitive, sure thing....

Well, the allready poor Aggro Control was taken out of the game intentionally. So i highly doubt that any update will bring some sort of Aggro...
