Well it's both obvious. Of course having 2 attacks takes less time than 3 attacks. Of course a 4 attacks do more dmg than 3 attacks.

Oh god no, don't use them both together :S Use frenzy, if you find yourself being attacked then cancel frenzy with rush/sprint.
