For a remote, off the beaten path, you can't beat Maguuma Stade. Many nights, it is empty when I set up camp for the night.
Just turn off all background programs, including auto updates. Manually update later.
I watch what Olias uses and when. He tends to use BotM while we are moving, Heal Area while standing still.
