Tetris L you forgot the group of players stay in Ascalon pre AM dist 1 who just dance all night, Dolls cough Dolls (self advertising)

I have also noticed in the last year a huge group of players who have made pre home for the ale farming and drunkard title.

Good to see that the OP guide is getting more players back into pre.

If any players need help I have a monk in pre who can help you kill charr over the wall, or I can open the gate and map out so that you can solo.

was talking to that guy because he was offering salvaged runes in pre
so I asked him how he can salvage them, he said he won't say how.
I asked how much he wants for one then-->200k post searing gold
I lol'd and asked him to show me the runes first -->I won't
I accused him to be a scammer and then he said what's shown on the screenshot

He was probably legitimate, some players in pre still have superior salvage kits in pre from the old guild hall bug, when you can finds a player with one they charge from 30k to 80k per 1 use.

Some guy showed me some superior runes, a 20/20 sword mod, and a 20% charr mod. Said they were all over 1 mil post. *sigh* Opportunists.

This guy's a tard first off not all of us are going for a title, I'm going for 20, I'm sure there are many who are going for the title though. Second having black doesn't make you leet, but many a time have I gotten the pm "omg why did you waste black dye on pre armor?!?!"

Ah yes in February there was a way to get to your guild hall from pre. It involved going into observe mode, then exiting would put you in your guild hall. I myself never did this and wouldn't have, though I know a few people who did. It was later labeled an exploit when it was patched on the updates page. The reason he's not gonna show you the runes is because I know a person who had runes showed someone who took a screen and got him banned for a week. Trust me runes in pre exist, one person showed me the Victo's set in pre a long time ago, and yes they will demand high amounts of pre sear gold to access things such as sup salvages

Yuna I'm not sure how much a vamp in pre would be worth it would be up to the seller, I know a few people got rid of their vamps after the initial nerf, I kept mine

I'm level 8 with my mesmer. Accdientally took reward for Charr at the gat quite early on, hit accept on auto pilot isntead of dropping the quest first when tlaking to Ruirk, but didnt want to start over. Oh well, only a lot more time to go, thank god for AFKing.

Soloing char is quite easy its just hard to find a person to open the gate for you all the time. I am probably going to stop at level 16 and go for the drunkard title. My comp would probably die from leaving guild wars on all night, as it can barely work when i am playing normally.

also a superior rune in pre is definately worth like1 mil as you can only find minor runes in pre(meaning this person got them during glitch)

20/20 sword mod, once again 1mil as only up to 20/18 is findable

20%charr mod is by far the best mod in pre as that is just about all you kill

if you think those are pricy try buying some greens in pre

Holy some things for your guide

From step 2
From level 1 to 2 when people are going for the collector armour a good place for fast xp is the wizards tower, take the ele 2nd profession quest and complete (Don’t take reward) then kill the ice ele in the cave near for the collector drops and map to the fair. Abandon the quest and repeat as ice ele are lcv3 this is a good way for low levels to get to lv 4-5

Lots of people have been asking about the collector armour pieces
The 4 collector armour pieces are found at

Catacombs: fastest is to enter near the B Estate (will fix sp when I get home), req gargoyle skulls.

The next piece is just outside the Fair, req ice loadstone drops from ice elementals.

The last two are found at Fort Ranik, req seeds and spider legs found just outside the Fort near the apple grove, both spiders and aloe are near. The aloe seeds are on the next left after the grove.

From step 3 using the :Charr at the Gate” to level don’t forget to kill the lv5 bull near as it is an extra 80-100 xp

Also when you first leave Ascalon city you can take a fast detour and kill the lv5 water drake near the res shrine at the city gate (not sure but you might also be able to pull him to the res shrine to used to death lv)

Elbereth, the bull isnt worth the run to it. It is easier to simply follow Rurik.

Okkkkay...so people have been talking about this death lvling over and over, but have left out an important piece of info...someone commented about this but Im hoping he is not right

So after u death lvl a moa bird to lvl 20, u kill it and get xp right....so do u then have to rezone and re-lvl it to lvl 20 and kill it again, and then repeat over and over and over??? That seems like it would take much longer than 100 hours....

Yes once you kill it it is dead. You get the xp. Then you have to go back into a town and come out again to start leveling another.
