I've read a bit more of whats been posted and I'm understanding that it's more like: Buy CH2 and play a "GW" game (that's different) or buy a new expansion for the GW you play now. I guess I'll take comfort in knowing that most people will choose part b).
Pfft, also. You're talking about fow armour and eye candy now? I hope you enjoy griding for your tier5 axe and your epic flying mount, sir.
But yeah, you're right. I'm not ANet, and what I think, aswell as everybody here, doesn't matter. I guess I can look on the bright side, if all goes bad at least GW won't interfere with my final years at school.
Thanks,

Nicely said and lol@ "tier5 axe and your epic flying mount". xDDD
I know you posters won't miss me, when I say I will not by GW2, but I know that Anet will be missing a customer. I may seem like one small person, but I'm not alone. I know of many who bought GW for GW and not for WoW, and what with the bleak outlook on the new game, I will not buy it. I'm not crying out for attention, and neither are people like Ninja, when we say we are not joining GW2. As somebody said earlier, Anet is, in the end, just trying to make a profit. They care about pleasing us, with updates etc, to keep us motivated to play and buy new chapters. They care to hear what our input is because in the end, we are the ones paying their salaries. So they put up with our childish rants and "tantrums" and flames and try to weed out what the majority want. And well, since it is after all a business, Anet will certainly care to hear statements such as "I will not buy the next game and here is why ____". It is a business and we are buying their product. If customers are unhappy with the product, they will leave and find a new one. What would you do if you bought a box of chocolates and what you got inside was carrots and peas? Would you eat the carrots and peas and say "well... I guess I'll conform with this" or would you say "I bought chocolate and now I want chocolate" and then bring the box back and never buy something at that store again? You'd be an unhappy customer. We all bought GW1 because it was GW1. We got what we bargained for. We bought all of the chapters thinking we're giong to get more, etc. And now we're being told that they aren't living up to the expectations that they gave us, with their promise of new chapters every 6 months. IMO it's like finding carrots and peas in my box of chocolates.
