Well, 250-300 HP actually isn't enough to save somebody from a good spike with follow-ups. And I agree with Ketsu, it'll definitely help spike teams (which I thought is what ANet didn't want to do...o_O)

Exactly. the bottom of the barrel 100% is still helpful to stop spikes, but a powerful spike ( which there are plenty of ) will trample it and thats assuming your infuser is at 100% 600 health all the time, which he probably wont be. And as for teams that use an SB ? gg.

well. atrophy only decreases the primary. Wail of Doom decreases ALL attributes to 0. LOL
you just turn people back into L0 noobs again. Just laugh at Ele nukers doing 0 dmg for a few secs. More of a humour skill this :P

in terms of wailing spikes... hex breaker? perhaps/./// oh well. they might nerf this? i can;t beleive they didn;t think of this or perhaps they would like to push the game into a totally new meta... rather than modifications of the current meta.

Regarding Simple Thievery and Anet Keyboard: Clearly there's a newer edition of the keyboard (the one we see here are quite new as it has "Same Mask" button). The newest edition should have a new button under "Skill Balance" saying "Distract with Bugs" (i.e. this isn't the first time something like this happens).

physics instability was like an all rounder skill which is one of the only few good elite mesmer has, and now it was changed to be a mesmer only skill and having its functionality changed to wat of a normal skill should deliver.

I strongly agree that people should stop *JUST* whining about these updates and actually give a valid reason for disagreeing with it. A reason someone with the power to change it might actually bother to listen to.
I wouldnt even bother reading past the 3rd page in this thread if I were them.
Speaking from both a stong PvP and PvE background, AND taking into account the different styles of play that both carry with them, I have to say that there are definately several to a few BAD changes in this update.
WY did NOT need that curbstomping. I can see WHY the attack cap is necessary, but max 3 is rediculous. Especially since those 3 can be eradicated in 1 second by 2 people WANDING you.
PI = why bother. It was a good skill. Could have used a nerf to perhaps "Whenever a foe casting a spell is interrupted, that foe is knocked down", this prevents the thunderclap like effect while not changing the skills function.
Mystic Regen took a bit of a hit here. It DID need to be nerfed from its original state, and was. the enchant cap was a good addition to prevent things like Vow of Silence dervs being impervious to degen. I think that it is fair even to apply ONE of the current changes, and keep either its ability to be used as a cover enchantment (fast recharge) or its longevity. But without removing the cap to compensate, I think this nerf is just unnecessary overkill.
Although alot of people are happy to see Shroud of Silence nerfed, and although assasin is probably my least played class, I fail to see how its previous duration was a problem. Its an ELITE, its SUPPOSED to be good.

sorry, but that skill is way more useful than u think. its just how flexible u r to change a "useless" skill into something very useful.

Lion's comfort was buffed.
Wail is nasty, for sure, but remember that it's replacing crap like shroud of silence which was even nastier. I'm so very happy that skill is finally dead.

WY! nerf was a bit overkill, agreed with that. Then again, I rarely ever use it, so it affects me not. Plus, Shields Up is looking really nice now - going to be a staple skill for the Charr territory with all them r-spike groups. The rest of the update seemed... necessary, I guess. Some of it is making my mouth water, such as Weaken Armor and Enfeeble buffs. Gonna have to go try this out when I get home! Whee!

As it stands now, Shroud of Silence is worse than pretty much any regular knockdown skill. It is garbage.

Seriously, all the WY! rape going on over at Anet's offices is getting pretty ridiculous. Why not just put it out of its misery and mercifully remove it from the game?
Some other notes:
- Lions Comfort is actually good now, dual purpose heal & adren engine ftw!
- Tactics is officially dead, thanks to Lions Comfort buff and more WY! rape.
- Rodgort's Invocation nerf was needed, Mind Blast nerf was not.
- If you though Necros were overpowered before.....
"Watch Yourself!": Removed from the game because we hate it.

I never really liked the idea of nerfing a skill simply because a different class can abuse it. I have the perfect change - make WY! a vanilla skill. In other words, it would work exactly the same as it did before, but wouldn't count as a shout. That way Warriors can still use it, and Paragons can't abuse it. Anything wrong with that idea?

Leadership should be half the energy return on adrenaline shouts and chants, and only up to half the energy used for energy shouts/chants. At least make paragons think about skill usage and managing energy instead of mashing everything on recharge.

Good to see the r/d build got nerfed a bit.. facing the same teambuild in uw, fetid, burial, relics, shrines and the gates is easy fame, but also really boring.
Shame nearly all decent non-attack skills of the sin got nerfed, what are they supposed to do now?

I really REALLY want my WY back, because I use it lots on my PvE warrior.

Mine uses it too....not often but enough to notice. I just gave some help to a newbie warrior just before the update to equip the skill. Wonder what they think of me now....
