Suggestion to Anet:
Have an NPC in L.A. and Kamadan hand out both hats for free next week until the event stops, so everyone can get both hats on all their accounts. This is just annoying.
And if you redo the entire event on a different day, chances are people won't have the time to replay it, because of work/school etc. and they'll be pretty p*ssed. So just hand out the hats.
A lot of districts didn't get hats.

My two accounts and my son this time, all in the same districts again, trying for the Grenth hat. Both times Grenth won and we got presents.
LA EED11 - he got a hat, neither of mine did.

I'd just like to put my +1 on the request for an NPC that will stick around for a few weeks to dispense the bugged hats for free. I would hate to see the profiteering that would go on if they wanted candy shards or the like to get them...

Easiest fix is to just make the hat guy have these hats craftable for everyone, as if we had shown them to him. Easy, quick fix, and they can then take the months it will take them to track down the source of the problem (XTH style), without half the community out for their blood.

I had 4 accounts in the same district (Kamadan American Dist 13). 3 of them got it, 1 of them didn't. I assume this happened in the first round since I woke up after the second round and people were already complaining.

Euro dist 1 got me Grenth on first game, but no luck with any of the other districts even with Kamadan cheat. I'm trying to figure out possible solutions for this so 1 was to trash the current hat (after giving to maker of course), didn't work. I'm going to re-log and see if that has any effect. In case this also helps, I'll take the costume off too.

Personally, the idea I liked over all others was to put ALL past festival hats in the Gold Zcoin trader. Hell, I'd have no issues paying 5 or even 10 golds to get a pumpkin crown for my main account..It'd also make it possible to get the old hats I accidentally deleted back, as I was on a dumbass bender one day and accidentally deleted a few I'd not taken to the hat keeper.
Anything is better than having to use my alt as main just so I can wear a pumpkin crown..
And yes..I do like the Pumpkin Crown that much. Don't you?

Got the Dwayna hat just fine in Kamadan, swapped to LA to park for the Grenth hat, no hat. I showed the hat to the hat keeper and removed removed the Dwayna hat from inventory and am hoping to get the Grenth one when it starts again in about 20 minutes.
And the idea of zcoins for old hats would make me very happy. I missed some of the hats due to vacations etc, and would love to have the ability to have all of them. Also, I know a lot of people who no longer have the first years hats because they deleted them to make space long before they added the festival hat keeper to the game.

Also, the only hat I got this event was the Snow Crystal Crest, even though I was also in Kamadan one round and then went AFK overnight in a Grenth-aligned LA district.
