I did. If you don't like the place you pre ordered from or have fears then simply go somewhere else. I suggest gamestop and you acted like I knew where this guy lived. They are in 14 countries so its a viable suggestion without knowing where he lives.

The way GAME seem to be doing things is that online preorders get the full box (which is nice) AND the email key so that they can play in the FWE. Since that has passed, perhaps they feel the email key is useless and are now just sending out the box and its key?

Looks to me like Kieron knows about GW and what he's talking about, and Rosie has just checked up on when Game send out email keys.

So I'd say they're just sending out boxes now.

To be honest i got my Pre-order and i am not sure if its worth the hassle.

But again thats me.

I sure hope the CE its loads better.

its was funny when the guy at the GAME store ask me "are you sure you want to pay £2.00 for this"? that got me thinking lol

Same worry here, I've pre-ordered it from game.net, and a week later still no box. Makes me a bit angry that the only actual reason to get it from game.net hasnt actually happened, simplygames.co.uk would have set me back 2 months less towards that new PC :@

In the emails I got, see page 1, Kieron says that they're getting the boxes later this week (I'd say around today) and going to ship them. I'll send an other email about the 'bonus items', cause I don't know what they are?

I don't think you can get the key without the box, AN did the orignal GW like half-life, halo,battle front and such, I think they would do the same thing

i got the key thru email ,went on to the guild wars log in screen done all the stuff with the acess code then because i saw the preorder from game, i cancelled the order. i dont know whats gonna happen with the acess code :S

I just signed up here and have a question regarding the Pre-Order. I heard similar stuff before but like to know the real deal...

It might have been asked before, but I hate to read through tons of pages and possibly reading different kind of answers and/or searching for the answer and still getting all kinds of answers. Perhaps another solution and/or answer has come up, so well, I'll just go ahead and ask

I live in the Netherlands and ordered the GW:Factions Collector's Edition and it came along with the Pre-Order Kit, which I received a couple of days ago (I'm having both delivered instead of picking them up at the store). I waited for a while with entering the code, wanting to be sure of things before I did anything. But I just decided to enter the code, so I did.

Now when I check the current access for my account, all I can see is Prophecies and the two Unique Items that come with the Pre-Order Kit, does this mean I will have the Early Access or not? I surely hope so, since I paid for that

.

And what exactly will be the deal with getting full access when I receive the game itself (in my case the Collector's Edition)? Since we're all in differetn countries, release times might vary a bit. So do I have to wait for the package to be delivered to be able to play after the Early Access? Which means it could take a while? Or does the merchant make sure you have the order delivered on release day?

Please if someone can shed some light into this matter

looks like you can get the pre-orders a couple days earlyer then the public if you work for stores with it

as for divine, it's working fine, you got the pre-order stuff&such, you just can't see everything in your account

Where is the cheapest, but safest, place to preorder guild wars factions. I don't want a used $5.99 one (Is that possible?), but $50 is a little expensive for me, especially since I'm broke. If you could post a link to one that would be great, otherwise I guess I'm just gonna have to dish out the $50.

OK I really need an answer to this. Why can I not pre order the Collectors Edition anywhere. I can order the standard and get a pre order pack but noone is offering the CE for pre order. This really blows to have to chose between no pre order(Collectors Edition) or Pre order(standard version only)

It would help to know where you are and where you've tried. I'm in the UK and I know there are places online, where you can preorder the CE and get the preorder stuff.

guessing that your in america, go to the store and talk to them, best buy, comp usa and such arn't selling the pre-order packs untill april 28[lol] right now but you can reserve a copy of either by delivery or store pickup[they fed ex/ups the game to you the day it is released in the store, store pickup would be sooner]

well I'm in NA and I went to Best Buy, Gamestop, Circuit city and walmart and tried their web sites also and none of them offer a collectors Edition for pre order. So i guess it's like I said in order to get the collector edition I have to not be able to participate in the pre order head start.

hmmm so then what's the advantage to getting the collectors edition( $10 more) other than some stickers, a poster, and a mouse pad?

Sry but IMO this is really pathetic on ANET's part offering a collectors edition, paying more money for it, and having to miss out on the pre order bonus!

Please if someone out there knows who is actually offering the collectors edition for pre order. tell me so I don't have to buy 2 copies of Factions to get the head start and the collectors edition.

You need to search better. Go back to Best Buy's site. They have it up now and there's a thread about it because he works there.

Did you order before the FPE? If so, you should've got a key by e-mail, after the FPE they stopped doing that. They started shipping the boxed pre-orders just last week, so maybe you'll have luck this/next week.

Well, i surely hope i'm getting it. Getting a bit bored.

Have you received any emails from Game?

I did mention the possibility before of their emails getting lost in a spam net, which turned out to be prophetic since I ordered from them after posting that and then found all their emails to me had were being caught by my ISP's spam filter.

I just got my pre-order box from game.net. I pre-ordered on tuesday last week, so its taken just over a week to get to me. If you live further away, expect it to take up to 2 weeks

Received my Pre-Order box today. What I am curious about is the Pre-order key which gives 24 hour headstart. Is that the main key for my game or will I have to enter the key which comes with the main box when it arrives. (I can't imagine they would give us two legitmate keys!)
