Just like everyone else, you start the game with nothing. It takes time to make money. Farming is not essential to get what you need.

Have you tried going back to Tyria and Cantha with your heroes? It's pretty easy.
If you have to spam "join my guild, first 5 joins become officers", you shouldn't have a guild anyway.

Weapon Spell removal would be nice. I'd say something more to counter shouts but there's no real point at the moment.
