No body knows, and the spider was never prestigious, it's harder to get a pet to level 20 than cap a spider.
If you are going for title, you should be looking for easy chests, and if you are looking to make a money then you should sell them.

req 8 max weapons/offhands still drop, albeit very rarely. req 7 max weapons/offhands don't drop anymore (some people will disagree with this)

Some people think it increases drop rates but in reality it does not.
What build are you running, how often are you winning? I normally play on Double Faction weekends but you should be getting more than that.
