Wota sins actually deal more damage than dervish on a combo and i still prefer them rather than dervishs ( of course not talking about the crap...

But for most players it makes kinda no sense nerfing it for GvG and not for all those problems from HA...

Because some dungeons are fun and for the end reward.... However i usually prefer doing NM ( few HM though , but not all) since it's less fun...

Well there's 99% chance it's just a copycat from last year but , considering there is no announcement plus we're getting close to GvG...
