If it misses, the damage is directed where the arrows land, thus even dodgind may result to dmg to someone. Good vs bunched spirit clusters.

The idea is to make unused skill used...even in PvE. Ele is powerfull indeed, but there are very interesting spells (elites) that are far to weak...

Shield bonus AL is normal AL, the extra reduction is physical. Casters mostly use only that extra reduction.
