Do both, run a hyrbrid Prot/Heal bar (like the one posted above). It's far more efficient than pure Heal and pure Prot - you do NOT need 8...

Paragons are still one of the strongest professions in GW, even after multiple nerfs. PvXwiki sucks, btw.
