Yes, but you need to do the dungeon. Just exit from Central Transfer Chamber and go into the portal. It goes into the dungeon guide, not hero's.

Hard mode is unlocked account-wide. Once you beat the campaign, any character on that account has HM unlocked for the same campaign.

Loot scaling made just about all solo farming spots unprofitable. And yes, there's farming forum just for that.
