I would take hammer bash over heavy blow for the same reason as Morzan stated if they condition doesnt stick its useless, you might want to go...

Strength has some awesome skills, RotN is great, although Ive only used it in PvE it may be good in PvP, double final thrust anyone?

On the hammer build try using holy and/or stonesoul strike instead of aftershock, if you get off both in a KD at about 10 smiting its 160 holy dmg...
