I would think that if ANet plans to lock the HoM with the release of GW2 (which I seriously doubt) they will notify the players before the release...

On our site I filter with <lollipop> as in, "go lollipop your mom".

The person probably thought you needed the gold from what you were selling and decided to be generous. There are some people like that, but beware...

I do that myself sometimes as MM, if there are enough corpses to use. You get a nice fresh Fleshy with full health bar.
