The Biggest Jerk You Ever Encountered in GW (no posting names)

One of the chief idiots of today's grotto is the jerk in this one...

Jerk: Player X is a noob.
Player X: Wtf? What'd I do to you?
Jerk: Stfu noob.
Player X: o.o
Jerk: I challenge you to 1v1. C'mon noob.
Player X: Uhh... ok.
Jerk: TA highest d, grab some friends and meet us there.
Player X agrees, does so.

Finally ends up in battle vs Jerk... and Jerk is owned horribly 1v1, while calling Player X noob the whole time. "Zomg read the wind, what a noob skill", etc. (Jerk was hiding behind oath shot, whirling defense and lightning reflexes... lamesauce)

Jerk returns to Grotto and claims to have won. Player X gives up, puts Jerk on ignore. Which is what should have been done from the start, honestly.

My turn. During the PVP Event, I was with my Me/W, ppl talked about How much time they play GW while using /age.

I saw 1500h, 1800h and 1 over 2000h/7 month!!!

I said mine: less 600h/8 month

The biggest jerk in guild wars would be everyone that runs around in the CA, when they are the last one alive on their team and hava no chance of winning.

Nothing anyone has said to me has offended me, despite lots of name calling and immature behavior. I just laugh at them. One such runner in random team called my victorious team, right before he dropped, "Duckers!" He surely meant to impart something frightfully scathing, but instead made me laugh for the next five minutes.

damn i wish we could name names but ah well, the biggest jerk i have come across is an ex guildie who whenever u are online msgs u with obsenities and constant too.thats why they get reported all the time hehe hahah

my wireless...~6 hours ago, i made a great, unranked, balanced PUG. we beat uw, burial mounds, skipped to the HoH like alter map and barely won 1-0 thanks to a well placed meteor, took screenies at the vault, and then... got to HoH for the third time ever with the best group ive ever had, ready to teach these ranked groups that rank is irrevelant. i was team leader so i was pumped. we went over strategy, and we were all psyched and 10 seconds before the greatest battle of my guild wars career,i get an err=7

Hmm... In random arenas.

It was me (MM), Jerk (Paladin), Mesmer (Shutdown), Monk (Prot/Healer)

We had won 17 games consecutively, and were in team arenas. We had been talking about nonsense on a whole group level, then the Jerk and mesmer started to get a little loud and ticked off with each other, I ignored it and didn't really pay attention untill the jerk triggered my pet peeve. She started bragging about her guild, and what rank she was, and how she was a better player then us, and how the only reason we were winning was because of her (nonsense). At the time I was guildless, why? because its hard to find a guild with out people who think they're better then regulars simply because they're in a guild and other people aren't. Anyways she moved on to me critiqued my MM build, even though there aren't any flaws in it, its just a matter of fate if two people gang on me and I get killed etc etc... And then she refered to me as "The Guildless", after I had called her pompus and a show off. She was the most ignorant person I had ever met, I didn't bother explaining to her the glory of avoiding guild conflict and stereotype.

Finally got a story to share. By far not the biggest jerk I've encountered in the game, but it was a whole lotta WTF.

Anyway. I've got a couple of hours to kill and Hell's Precipice to beat, so I zone to it and take a look around. There are about ten or twelve people there and seven of them are already grouped. The group already has one monk and some of the members are shouting, "GLF one more monk and then we're good to go!" only with far worse grammar and spelling.

Hm. I look around. It's me (N/Mo with only Rebirth in the Monk line, and definitely not a healer), a Ne/Me and two Wa/Mos. No Monk primaries in the district except for the grouped one yelling about needing one more Monk.

So I say something along the lines of, "There aren't any more Monks in the district."

Wow. You'd think I had just mentioned I was planning on taking their first-borns and selling them on the black market for all the abuse I got. I got called a... ah, a witch-with-a-b , was told to "STFU noob" ( ) and it was suggested my father rapes me at night (niiiice).

All that crap merely for pointing out there weren't any Monks present. I love people, I really do.

LOL with capital letters! The kind of people who would react like that are the kind of people who would lose precious playing time waiting for a human monk to show up instead of taking a henchy monk.

The other day I was at Camp Rankor and there were at least 3 level 20 players asking if there were anyone who would run them to the another town. I kind of thought, well, they all were at level 20, so why waste game time waiting for that non-existant runner? Why not instead take a party of henchies and fight your way there? What's to lose? I could only suppose that they were rather lazy players and would rather be run, but if no runner was available, what the heck, why not go out and try to fight it instead? So I suggested this out loud to no one in general. And I was answered also quite rudely by one of the would-be-runned's. Go figure!

Finally ran into someone who was a total jerkoff the other night. I was at Iron Mines and this guys starts asking where he can cap a certain skill...nobody responds so he starts on everyone in the district saying stuff like I can believe nobody here knows...your all noobs. Then he starts about how everyone is just standing around doing nothing...blah blah blah. So I suggest to the guy why not just look it up on google, takes like 30 seconds. He responds by saying that's cheating I want to figure it out myself. HUH. I say isn't asking someone where it is just about the same cause your not finding it yourself? He says well I'm no <deragatory jewish remark>. So I'm thinking what a piece of _____. Then someone posts a link to a site that has the elite locations and poof he's gone. Is there a way to report people like that in GW? I hope so, cause the next time I run into one I'm gonna report him/her.

yeah you can go to www.guildwars.com and report them via the support section. Don't expect anything to be done though, someone who threatened to rape me/kill my bf is still playing to this day *rollseyes* but you might get lucky. You'll never know what they did unless you see them online though coz of anets privacy policy. It's always worth reporting them, hopefully some of the jerks will go bye bye

cool i'll do that cause i don't want this game to turn into a hormone charged adolecent gathering like some other online games.

playing last night in heroes ascent, not much happening so I accepted a blind invite, the "team" was pretty hopeless no calling, no idea, lost badly in the first round after just making it through the zaishen with zero morale boost and a few deaths en route, so I thought "enough" go and wait for a decent team.

back in heroes broadcast to everyone is this "leader" f'ing and blinding about leavers, then tells **** leavers to sell the **** game you'e all the same every night I spend time drone etc much swearing vaguely mis-spelled to avoid the filters, and way out of order.

Anyway I joined another team having totally ignored this idiot, two games later guess who we meet, so I killed him three times in succession

It was yet again one of my sleepless nights (my hubby snores loud) so I ended up at Piken buying Charr-hides with a price I think is quite fair (45g each).
Everything went fine for an hour or so, then there showed up a W/Mo... declared he's really drunk and started to entertain me and all others around ther as following:

Jerk: SCAMMER ALERT!!! #my char's name# is a scammer!
Me: No... I do not scam. I am buying only Charr-hides!
Jerk: She's a scammer! I'm gonna report you, #dirty word#!
Me: How can I scam if I'm buying Charr-hides with cash?
Jerk: NOBODY MAKE ANY CONTACT WITH #my char's name#. SHE'S A SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: Scamming requires me to cheat... how can I cheat if I buy?
Jerk: SHE'S A SCAMMER!!! She didn't sell me ... [can't remember what kind of a shield he claimed I had been selling]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He kept on that for a long time... eventhough other people told him nicely to keep quiet (STFU & other versions were widely used too ) In the meanwhile I was trading cash for hides (it's amazing how quickly one gets 250 hides with that price )

Took a screenie and still thinking should I or should I not report him. Opinions?

it's harrassment, plain, pure and simple - yeah report him!

letting things like that go is just allowing it to continue. As others see that nothing is being done to get rid of that kind of behavior, the more others will slip into that nonsense themselves.

Erm, just curious.. is there anything in the US law that prevents us from posting IGNs of these a**hats? Or is it just something in the EULA? (which I have zero intent of complying with anyway)

It'd be so great if we can build a directory of these turds.
