Well, I'm not an Elementalist, but I'd suggest getting each set of armor if you can... just to remain flexible under circumstances.

I like the feeling of having a party of 8 go up against an army of Grawl... it's very fun.

The only superior runes I, personally, want are Superior Vigor and Superior Absorb... all the others with -75 HP penalty just don't seem worth...
