I think its the video card. It just gave me enough time to switch to window mode, and it worked, when i switched back to fullscreen, it locked again.

Im going to leave the defragmention on all night, i will tell you my outcome in the morning. Goodnight, and thanks for the help.

Ive run that same setup in place of this computer and everything was fine. XP wise. Its not the board, i think its the sound card or hard drive....
