I can't find anyone else talking about this... Just to be sure that I'm not missing anything - there's no way to get a PVP character...
Factions is a stand-alone expansion. It doesn't matter what Anet might say about it; it's clearly an expansion. The ability to play it...
One of the NPCs in Beacon's Perch will give you the quest "To Kryta: Refugees", which takes you to the next mission.
I just wish I could, like, pay a reduced price to get access to the new classes/skills for PVP and skip the rest. $50 for just skills is pretty steep.
