Personally, I'd go with one monk with Divert Hexes and one monk with Holy Veil. (Pre-veiling and removing 3 hexes every 5 seconds)
Heroes should be getting 15 attribute points at level 10 and another 15 attribute points at level 15.
If you don't know much about monking, go with Prophecies (the whole slower pace, time to learn, get more skills thing already mentioned...
