a good way to make 20,000 is to beat the game and turn in the hero handbook I think it's 26,000 for the armor though.

Well, shards are only like 2k right? I know i would just farm the money for the shards, if it was giving me enough trouble.

Really, they're the same for gameplay, just different in terms of armor.
