More importantly, have you talked to Yanii (sp?) since Ascending? The sword quest isn't there until then.....I don't believe.

staves are max 11-22 regardless of the bonus to energy....then again I don't recall seeing any 11-22's that aren't +10 E.

Sword 15-22, Bow 28mx, Axe 6-28, hammer 19-35, Staff 11-22

All missions other than Pre-Searing to Old Ascalon are re-doable, you just don't get the 1000/2000 exp + skill pt for them the second time....
