It's usually the other person.
Probability is completely random. 3 greens drop from a boss. Hence you have a 3/12 (1/4) chance. No more, no less.

It's kinda hard to get DP when you are soloing or paired with someone without a res (i.e. a N/Me in the UW duo build)
How do you quit a free game?
The runes protect against the same damage which you can block 75% of already. The runes don't protect against spells.
