A better answer would be Player menus like in final fantasy 11. It could show titles, progression of the titles, exp, Kurzick or Luxon, Auction...

im not too sure about the trading faction for ectos or shards... but the titles and bars sound cool...

I agree that it would take bigger servers... but if you think about it, Anet is planning on releasing a new chapter every 6 months for 50$ a pop....
