I'd go with Extend, because it's more on-demand than Fevered Dreams and is cheaper.

I prefer Monk, because Blessed Light and Aura of Faith are among the list of my favourite elites. Mesmers can be fun aswell though.

If it is cosmetic, I'm fine with it. If it's beneficial to your power, I won't be happy.
