Just to be different I'll say Factions and Nightfall. That way you get access to all 10 professions.

they aren't going to give anyone an advantage in GW2 based off their monument in GW1. You will get something that will make you stand out...

Rangers are a strong class, good armor (especially against elements), do good damage, spread conditions (poison, burning), interrupt target...
